In amongst the stuff out there that isn’t very usable, many kind souls have put time and effort into developing quality resources with open-source access for all. Check out this short list below of 5 of the best sites with free design resources for all of your highly creative learners.

Media Militia—This is the home of some top-notch graphics, PSD files, vectors, tutorials, and much more. All of the free design resources on Media Militia are for personal and commercial use. LogoInstant—Logo designers can rejoice because there are PSD and vector logo designs galore to be had here. With over 20 categories to search within, you’ll find plenty of inspiration here. Students can download and utilize any of their free logo designs on a website or any other project. Most files include editable EPS vector files as well as standard JPEGs.

Web Designer Depot—Going strong since 2010, Web Designer Depot is a designer’s dream. They’ve got some of the best free design resources you’ll find anywhere. Their freebies section is jammed with cool fonts, icon packs, mock-ups, slides, and lots more for every design project. Their blog is also one of the best design forums in the business.

Graphic Burger—Chow down on Graphic Burger’s expansive archive of free design resources for both personal and commercial use. You can find UI kits, icons, fonts, mockups, and awesome backgrounds here among the other cool goodies. It’s all royalty free for both personal and commercial projects of all sorts.
